today was a good day. why?

1) john mcmorrough, the section head of architecture at knowlton / ph.d in architecture from harvard, offered to write me a recommendation letter to the yale school of architecture after a review of my graduate portfolio.

2) received a $0.50 raise at my job as a graphic designer for the ohio state university institute for materials research after 18 months of "excellent" service.

3) received christmas presents from my bosses at work. some home baked goods, $15 gift card to best buy, $15 gift card to buffalo wild wings, and $10 gift card to mcdonald's. thanks layla, angie, and steve!

4) dinner at the olive garden with bryant wu, james wu, and neil jindal. an amazing time catching up with everyone and reliving past memories.
